Spanx Supports Women Living an Entrepreneurial Life!
Which City Should We Fund Next?
What is an Entrepreneurial Life?
It’s a mindset. It involves courage, creativity, risk-taking and the confidence to do YOU!
With the right mindset, anyone can live an entrepreneurial life—not just business owners: stay-at-home moms, teachers, musicians, artists… even accountants. 😉
Why this matters?
Because women are one of the most underutilized natural resources.
And when they tap into this mindset… the planet will be a better place.
Sara started Spanx with 5K in savings (from selling fax machines door to door), her Lucky Red Backpack and a mission to make the world a better place. Her big break came when Oprah named SPANX a “Favorite Thing”.
Spanx wants to pay that moment forward and give other female entrepreneurs exposure and a boost… and a Lucky Red Backpack. From women starting a business to get out of poverty, to artists, non-profits and startups… we support all women living an entrepreneurial life.
We believe in sharing the opportunity to give back with the people who have given us the chance to do so – YOU. Join us in giving women an additional Leg Up! Vote to empower more women entrepreneurs to build successful businesses and create economic opportunity in their communities and around the world!
This season, Spanx will fund microloans (through Grameen America) that empower low-income women entrepreneurs to build small businesses and create better lives for their families.
Grameen microloans enable these courageous women to establish financial credit, allowing them to support themselves, create jobs, and make a difference for their families, communities and cities.
Check out Elvia, Damaris, and Maria’s inspiring stories to see how they are using their Grameen microloans to achieve economic independence. With your vote, Spanx will give an additional 5k in microloans to fund more female entrepreneurs in the winning city. Select the woman’s city.
Thanks to your votes, an additional $5k in microloans will help low-income female entrepreneurs in Charlotte grow their businesses, build credit and learn financial skills. Vote for the next city to win!
